So, first of all, take a deep breath and relax. This is mostly a welcoming and friendly place.
Here, it's not about quantity but quality. It's about dialogues - not simultaneous monologues. It's about connections - two ways - and not about "followers". There is no contest, and there is no price to win for producing the most posts in the shortest period of time. So just relax. If your stream/timeline is not constantly refilled with new posts, don't worry. You will be fine.
There is one thing you need to know. The Fediverse is not new. It's a lot older than for example Mastodon. This means you may meet people who have been around for 10-15 years, maybe even more. So take a look around you and learn about the culture. The Fediverse is not something you consume - it's something you participate in. And it can be quite rewarding.
